A Fly Fishing Expedition in Bhutan’s Sacred Rivers

The catch-and-release practice here is deeply respected, aligning with Bhutan’s Buddhist principles of preserving nature's delicate balance. Alongside the golden mahseer, you’ll also encounter chocolate and copper mahseer, goonch catfish, katla, and the snow trout.

Explore the fertile valley, beginning with a short walk to the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, a stunning temple offering sweeping views and intricate Guru Rinpoche iconography. 

Later, join in a traditional archery match—a colourful and lively event staged on a specially prepared ground, complete with local music and festive flair. Evenings are designed for restoration. Soak in a Bhutanese hot stone bath, enjoy a slow-cooked farm-to-table dinner, and rest in total peace
