These Booking Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("Client") and Everest Luxury Holidays ("Everest", "we", "us", or "our"), a trade of Himalayan Scenery Treks & Exp. P. Ltd., registered in Kathmandu Metropolitan-16, Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal (P.O. Box: 11769). Please read these Terms carefully before booking a trip with us.
Bookings

Booking Process: You can book a trip through our website, via authorized travel agents, or by emailing us at [email protected].

Prices and Currency: Our trip prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD), Australian Dollars (AUD), Pound Sterling, and Euros. If you are booking in a different currency, the exchange rate set by the Nepal Rastra Bank on the day of payment will apply.
- Changes in Rates: The rates quoted on each package are based on the minimal rates of select hotels, as mentioned later in the clause. If you tend to change your hotels, the published rate of the hotels will be applied.

Deposit and Payment: To confirm your booking, you must provide a completed booking form, a copy of your passport, and a non-refundable deposit of 15% of the total trip cost. The remaining balance can be paid in USD, AUD, Pound Sterling, Euros, Singaporean Dollars, or Nepali Currency according to exchange rates or by credit card upon arrival in Nepal or at a pre-trip meeting at our office or your hotel.

Bhutan and Tibet: For trips to Bhutan and Tibet, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking. The remaining balance must be paid in USD or by credit card at least 5 days before your departure date.

Last-Minute Bookings: We accept last-minute bookings (subject to availability) with full payment required:

3 days prior to departure for Nepal trips.

7 days prior to departure for Bhutan and Tibet trips.

Wire Transfer (Local Currency): We can also accept local currency transfers. Please contact us for details.

Credit Card: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay, and American Express. A 3.5% processing fee will be applied. We are not liable for the additional 3.5% charge. This applies to you when booking directly via the website or when paying us through POS.

Direct/Online Payment: You can also pay your deposit using your credit card via the following link. As usual, this will also add to the 3.5% processing fee.
Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation Notice: All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.

Nepal Trips:

We offer a full refund (minus the 15% deposit) if you cancel at least 20 days before your departure date.

Cancellations with less than 20 days' notice will incur a 100% charge (no refund). We can assist with insurance claims by providing supporting documentation.

Bhutan and Tibet Trips:

We offer a 50% refund if you cancel at least 30 days before your departure date.

Cancellations with less than 30 days' notice will incur a 100% charge (no refund). We can assist with insurance claims by providing supporting documentation.
Trip Reschedule

Rescheduling Notice: You must notify us in writing via email at least 10 days before your departure date if you wish to reschedule your trip (Nepal) or 20 days (Bhutan & Tibet).

Reschedule Fee: A fee of USD 200 or equivalent per person will be charged for rescheduling your trip. You are responsible for finding another person if you wish to transfer your booking for free.
Incomplete Trips

We are not liable for any refunds for unused meals, accommodation, or services if you fail to complete your trip for any reason. We are also not liable for refunds if you are compelled to leave Nepal due to unlawful activity.
Passports and Visas

Valid Passport: A valid passport with at least 6 months' validity from your return date is required.

Nepal Visa: You can obtain a Nepalese visa upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport or from the Nepalese Embassy in your country. Costs are your responsibility.

Bhutan and Tibet Visas: We will arrange visas for Bhutan and Tibet as part of the trip package. You will need to send us a clear, color-scanned copy of your passport for this process.
Risk and Liabilities

Everest Luxury Holidays operates under the regulations of the relevant tourism boards in Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet. We are not responsible for changes in itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as:

Government policy changes

Local political unrest

Bad weather conditions

Health issues of clients

Road blockages
-
Flight delays/cancellations
-
Natural disasters
-
Any other events beyond our reasonable control
